Modula Diptych

This project is an exercise in typographic composition. It displays the text of a self-written essay on the typeface Modula, designed by Zuzana Licko. Modula was developed in the 1980s, primarily for use a display font. It is the result of radical changes in typography induced by the West Coast technological boom and the influence of digital computer screens. The two-panel poster uses this typeface and aims to build a strong structure while also highlighting the unique aspects of Licko’s letterforms.
